Shigeyuki Tomomatsu is Office Manager of MarketShare’s office in Japan. He is responsible for building MarketShare’s business in Japan. With almost 20 years experience at some of the world’s leading consumer companies and largest corporations, Shigeyuki brings a wealth of brand management expertise to the team at MarketShare.
Before coming to MarketShare, Shigeyuki was Vice President of Marketing at Yahoo! JAPAN. He led 80+ marketing organization and was responsible for all the marketing activities.
Previously he had served as Director of Strategic Planning and Brand Communication at GE Consumer Finance for several years. He grew the personal loan business from fifth to first place in first two years. Before the GE, he worked as a Senior Brand Manager at Coca-Cola Japan for various brands, Dr Pepper, Canada Dry, Minute Maid and Georgia coffee brands. Before that he worked as Assistant Product Manager for Johnson & Johnson. Shigeyuki’s career began in the early 1990’s as an Account Executive at Dentsu, Young & Rubicam.
A frequent industry speaker, He lectured “Web Marketing” classes at University of Tokyo and Waseda University while he was at Yahoo! JAPAN. Shigeyuki holds an MBA in Brand Management from Wake Forest University.
